It doesn't work now. Show an extended error.

That's because it's a piece of crap. In fact it's actually quicker to just use the site even if it isn't optimised for mobile devices...

Try it now, it's probably because during the upgrade it changed the folder with the api in it. I've renamed it back to what it was before so it should work. However it won't work for me now that I changed the folder...

It now works correctly. Thanks. It also seems that the update fixed the picture problem :

Great :) Oh and I also turned Ads off if anyone was seeing them previously. Tapatalk turns this on by default.

That's just the opening screen if you use a mobile to let you know that the forum supports it. Nothing I can do about that one I don't think.

How , on a 4 inch device?(using the site)
It , even for laptops and tablets , allows us to see new posts and replies quicker. It also displays notifications on Windows lock screen.

I think you can , in the Tapatalk control panel in phpBB.

Have you tried using the site on your mobile? It loads pages in under 1 second. Every action I made on tapatalk took at least 3 seconds. And the layout is terrible. I couldn't understand what was going on. It's changed a lot since a few years ago where it's purpose was to mimic the forum layout and not try to be smart.

I must admit that you aren't wrong to an extent. I generally do not use BetaArchive/Tapatalk on any mobile device(only on a laptop) , but when I tried it out on a 4 inch Galaxy S , I can say that while using the site is faster for shorter(if you're just reading) intervals , and for long time usage , Tapatalk works better. Surprisingly , it is not too difficult to read content with a bit of zooming.

Unfortunately though , the Tapatalk ad on the BetaArchive does make it somewhat harder to use the site properly.
As I said on my previous post , I think this can be disabled by using the Tapatalk control panel in the phpBB Administration center of the forum.

Do you mean the one at the top of the page letting you know that you can download the app? You can tap the X to get rid of it. It shouldn't come back. If not, screenshot it for me so I can see.

Have you already removed it? It does not show up anymore on another phone.

Its only a one off thing, tends to only show up once then once you dismiss it thats it.

As I said, if you dismiss it then it disappears for good unless you clear your browser cookies etc.

Offtopic Comment
The Tapatalk ad never showed up for me on my iPhone 4 even before the fix.
