I tested 9926 on VMware but I met some problems.
1. x64 versions couldn't be installed on VMware. It always said "Windows is ready" and seems to be loading something.
2. China and SL versions' Start Menu and Notification Center couldn't display. Some Modern UI Apps didn't work either.
Does anyone know why is that?

Re: Problems with 9926 on VMware
1. Have you turned on hardware virtualization turned on in your BIOS ?
2. You need to install VMWare Tools and latest updates for this build. It works for me, becouse I had the same problem and it works.

Re: Problems with 9926 on VMware
I have 9926 x64 (Enterprise) installed on VMware workstation 11, on a 9926 x64 (Professional) host.
Everything runs great, the VMware install took 20 minutes after hitting "Next" to arriving at the desktop.
I used 1 CPU/4 cores & 2GB of ram & set the "firmware type" to BIOS on setting-up this VMware OS install.
HTH

Take a look at VMware Workstation's support forum:Zheng He wrote:I tested 9926 on VMware but I met some problems.

Re: Problems with 9926 on VMware
I'm having an installation issue with build 9926 on vmware, had to install it through VirtualBox. The problem is that after the main part of the installation (Copying Files, installing features and updates) it would always get stuck on "Getting ready" with no percentage, why is that?
