When trying to install display drivers in Longhorn 4074, I get;
(Code 10) The device won't start.
How do I solve this? I am using VMWare 7.1.4, 4074 TWIWMTB, 30 GB IDE hard drive and 3 GB RAM.
Help with installing 4074 drivers?

Get hounsell's driver kit and mount the iso into your vm then right click the desktop, hit properties, then go to settings, click advanced then go to the adapter tab then hit properties, then go to driver, click update driver then hit install from a specific location, then click next then click don't search and then click next then click have disk and type D:\SVGA then hit enter and install.

When I do that, I get:Archenemy wrote:Get hounsell's driver kit and mount the iso into your vm then right click the desktop, hit properties, then go to settings, click advanced then go to the adapter tab then hit properties, then go to driver, click update driver then hit install from a specific location, then click next then click don't search and then click next then click have disk and type D:\SVGA then hit enter and install.
How do I avoid these errors?
Re: Help with installing 4074 drivers?
Please try to 'select a driver to install'. Select the driver file in the SVGA folder and try installing the SVGA II driver instead of this WDDM driver.

I have watched that before, and it does not help.Archenemy wrote:Here is a video on how to do it:
Strange, though, as drivers have worked before.
