How can I enable AERO in Longhorn 4074 on Oracle VirtualBox? I tried to install default 3D driver, but it doesn't work... when I try to run DWM it just says me an error... How?

something similar here is enabling DCE of Longhorn 3706 on VirtualBox, tried and no effect, I guess it also needs some of Direct3D 7, which is not supported by VirtualBox, but I can be wrong.

I thought that LH 3706 doesn't have DCE, I had enable it on LH 3718... Is there a DCE on 3706?

So there is no AERO in LH using VirtualBox? Or there is a build that can run ero on VirtualBox?

Use Google and the Edit button... We are not a 24/7 support board

You need a display driver. Just install Virtualbox Guest Additions with 'Windows XP' compatibility.

And you need to run these commands in CMD:

C:\Windows\i386\sbctl.exe start
C:\Windows\i386\sbctl.exe stop
C:\Windows\i386\sbctl.exe start

VirtualBox Display Driver did not support DWM on Longhorn at all
