Windows 8 All Editions Disk

Post by maxtorix »

After searching on internet and using this method,
Credits go to MDL's expert ambidav

I've made Windows 8 All-in-one (AIO) Disk in 3.93 GB size.

Contains eight images:
Windows 8 Pro
Windows 8
Windows 8 Pro with Media Center
Windows 8 Enterprise

(both x86 [32-bit] and x64 versions are included)
--------------------------------------------
Windows 8 Pro with Media Center is not syspreped image, it is original and genuine.

Will I be able to activate this with my legit Pro key, or do I need a special "Pro + WMC" key?

I tried this using a method linked below to create the x86 and x64 aio and then followed with the steps you cited to include the media center, but the images wound up a little scrambled. The aio method I used worked perfectly for my aio but of course the result did not include media center. What did you use to create your x86 and x64 all-in-one? Here's what I used (adapted to win 8): http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showt ... p?t=145356

The disk contains WZT not MSDN editions, so I'll re-create it and then I will upload it somewhere.

It'd be against BA rules / illegal to share whether they're WZT or MSDN editions, since either way you're talking about sharing RTM bits.

Since it's apparently against board rules to share these bits, what would be very helpful is some tips on how you got both x86 and x64 images on one .iso with the Media Center images included to work. As I said I've tried this but have had problems. Have you tried to install pro w/media center x64? That's where I've run into the most problems.

mprjay has lead the debate, when he ask "it's clever to put rtm on server?!" rtm aren't a warez till they are not include crack or timebomb remover, pre-activated keys, or loader in self, but however till now we haven't RTMs on BA servers. I don't distribute anything via this forum I just wanted to tell others that the Windows 8 AIO disk can be created and I put the thread with method that I've used to done it.

Don't kid yourself - despite what BA's official rules or what the regulations are, it is -illegal- to share RTM bits of Microsoft products, even if they don't have any cracks, without permission from Microsoft. Just because there aren't any cracks bundled doesn't make it any less illegal.

Term "illegally" - hasn't everywhere same definition, Microsoft's policy is not everywhere same accepted and respected.
The Pirate Bay legality
If one thing somewhere is considered as piracy, it does not have to be considered as such and anywhere else.

Perhaps it would be beneficial if you, maxtorix, explain step by step the process here to achieve this result in the best possible order.
It is not that hard.. btw

For those of you still looking for a guide for making a true Windows 8 all-in-one disc, the thread that originally was just for making an x86 or x64 disc with Media Center linked by the original poster has now been upgraded to a guide for making a true aio (x86 and x64) Windows 8 disc.
