I was waiting for this day. Finally! Most companies use still XP (damn them)! XP is the last oldest OS that still runs on my newest computer natively! ;)

Most of the people use Windows 7, but number two is XP of course.

And here I am, still using Windows XP as a web server because of it's speed on a AMD FX-53 with 2 gigs of ram.

Interestingly, I've got a copy of the Windows XP RTM.

And now I will delete this VM. If you have to use NT 5, use NT 5.0 (Windows 2000) for goodness sakes!
Goodbye.

Happy birthday Windows XP. (I wasn't waiting for this day AT ALL) In my book, XP, Vista and 2000 are the best NT OS ever made.

I'm pretty sure what you have is not the first RTM. XP RTM is compiled on the 24th by the xpclient lab. Same lab as 2532, 2535 and 2542

Correct, XDude, a quick Google search said me that he use 5.1.2600.41.xpclnt_qfe.010827-1803 (USB 2.0 drivers from Toshiba).

Happy Birthday Windows XP! (^) (U)
Though it's old now, it's the most succesful and the comfortable OS!!
Windows 7 isn't so comfortable as Windows XP is.

+1

I'm still using Windows XP as primary OS. It's easy to configure and easy to use. And doesn't have alot of bugs.

Slightly modified Windows 3.1 bootscreen. Color is teal like the Win95 desktop. Version and copyright info have also been updated.
