Windows Embedded 7

Windows Embedded 7 is a member of the Windows Embedded family of componentised operating systems, built on the same kernel as Windows 7 and designed to be used for embedded devices such as point of sale terminals, set top boxes and ATMs. It includes Windows Vista and 7 features such as Aero and Superfetch and has a footprint of about 300MB [compared to around 40MB for XP Embedded, this also depends on the components included]. It requires product activation.
