Blackcomb is a codename of a cancelled version of Microsoft Windows, originally meant to be released in 2002 as a successor to Windows XP.[1][2]


It also exists a supposed presentation of this version from the internet. However, the focus of this demonstration was actually MSN Messenger. As a result, some features never intended for "Blackcomb" have been attributed to it by many news sources.[3]
