Template:Infobox WindowsBuild Windows 98 build 2222A is an updated version of Windows 98, released on May 5, 1999. Many issues with the first version of the operating system were addressed, including the 49.7 day limit, and Y2K-incompliance.

New features include DirectX 6.1, Internet Connection Sharing, Internet Explorer 5, NetMeeting 3.0, and Windows Media Player 6.2.

System Requirements

Minimum system requirements are a 486DX2/66 MHz processor and 16 MB of RAM.

It is not designed[1] to operate with more than 1.5 GB of RAM, however with a patch it can be operated with upto 4GB RAM.
