::::I get your point, but there are some difficulties in doing that. The main problem is the vast number of potential search terms (eg: Longhorn 5048, 5048 etc) that we will have to individually create a redirect for. Additionally, if we have to change the title of the main article for any reason, that will break all the redirects pointing to that location (and as said before, redirects to a redirect do not work). I think, some of the text you remove from some of the pages is unnecessary to remove. ~~~~

Are you referring to my recent edit made to the Windows 1 Premiere Edition article? If so, then it should be noted that I removed the text regarding the "critical bug" because I did not see how it contributed to the article. I did, however, accidentally forget to include the link to the blog article itself. You are more than welcome to reinstate any portions of text that have been removed, as long as the text is rewritten coherently. (Maza (talk) 05:13, 9 July 2013 (GMT))

Well, if Windows 1.00 (Premiere Edition) has a bug in it, it has a bug in it.

I have reinstated the information pertaining to the bug. (Maza (talk) 05:45, 9 July 2013 (GMT))

my new lh wiki

visit [1] its my new wiki for Longhorn and contribute when you can.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to contribute to other sites similar to the BetaArchive wiki. As I've said before, the goal is, or at least it should be, to contribute by raising awareness and promoting understanding among readers. Having multiple websites dedicated to the same content only creates factions among this community. Contributing to this wiki will allow BetaArchive to be the resource for all information related to pre-release software, instead of just the software itself. Regarding your 5098 screenshot

Where did you get your File:5098CastleAeroWizard.png screenshot? 5098 is unleaked. --ovctvct (talk) 10:47, 21 August 2017 (BST)

Hello, thank you for asking. It was mentioned in the topic for Network Computer Sharing that the image originated from Paul Thurrott (Supersite for Windows): https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=37337 (Maza (talk) 19:35, 29 August 2017 (BST))

NCS redirect

Do we actually need that? We generally discourage redirects as it makes navigation difficult (and increases the risk of double redirects, which was a problem on the wiki until recently). X010 (talk) 13:14, 14 June 2019 (BST)

I apologize. I suppose that would be up for you to decide. I was not aware of the issues associated with redirects. Nevertheless, I wish they were used more often. (Maza (talk) 00:21, 15 June 2019 (BST))
But why do we need more redirects? X010 (talk) 08:44, 15 June 2019 (BST)
To aid in navigation and increase efficiency. I would love to be able to type "5048" and be redirected to Windows Vista Build 5048, for instance. (Maza (talk) 00:24, 17 June 2019 (BST))
