SYMPTOMS
You apply hotfix 930241 or security update 931832 (MS07-026) to a server that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2). When you do this, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
Some e-mail messages stay in the local delivery queue on the Exchange Server 2003 server.
Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: Exchange Store Driver
Event ID: 327
Description: The following call : EcLocallyDeliverMsg to the store failed. Error code : -2147024809 (Message-IDxxxx
). MDB : xxxx. FID : xxxx- You cannot open some messages in the Inbox or in other folders.
- If you move a mailbox, the From lines of some messages in that mailbox are lost.

Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, the following services are automatically stopped and then restarted when you apply the hotfix:
- Microsoft Exchange Information Store
- Microsoft Search
- IIS Admin Service and all dependent services
