SYMPTOMS
When you upgrade Adobe Flash Player in Windows Internet Explorer 7 on a Windows Vista-based computer, you receive the following warning message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Ieuser.exe process in Internet Explorer 7 protected mode does not automatically detect changes to elevation policy. An elevation policy consists of a series of registry keys and registry values. These registry keys and registry values tell protected mode how to handle the elevation of a specific process to a higher integrity level.
RESOLUTION
