The hotfix that is discussed in this article is unavailable for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
When you try to view the Sales Pipeline report or the Account Distribution report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive an error message that contains the English string "Not specified." However, you receive this error message in a non-English localized version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. This problem occurs when you click certain items in the Group by list before you click View Report.
RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM service pack that contains this hotfix.

Installation information
This hotfix contains a self-extracting package file. After you extract the contents of the package file, follow these steps to install the updated reports on the computer that is running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server:
- Copy one of the .rdl report files to the root directory of the C drive.
- Click Workplace, and then click Reports.
- In the Entity list, click the report that you want to update.
- Click More Actions, and then click Edit Report.
- In the Report:
Report_name
dialog box, click File in the Report Type pane, and then click Browse.
Note In this dialog box name, Report_name
is a placeholder for the actual report name.
- Click the report file that you copied in step 1, and then click Save and Close.
- Repeat step 1 through step 6 for each report file that you want to update.
Prerequisites
- You must have Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

Removal information
To remove the updated reports, follow the steps in the "Installation information" section to reinstall the original reports.
