SYMPTOMS

When you open a ProClarity Web Professional Web page in Windows Internet Explorer 7 or in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, the page may not appear as expected. The titles may be overlapped in the Briefing Book pane, in the My Views frame, and in some other frames.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 6 use the Microsoft Windows XP themes to display ProClarity visual components.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Use one of the following methods, depending on the version of Internet Explorer that you have:
    • In Internet Explorer 7, click to clear the Enable visual styles on buttons and controls in webpages check box under Browsing.
    • In Internet Explorer 6, click to clear the Enable visual styles on buttons and controls in web pages check box under Browsing.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Reopen the ProClarity Web Professional Web page.
