256986 Description of the Microsoft Windows registry

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to configure a manual scan job to continue scanning in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange even after the scan job experiences a problem. To do this, you can configure the "ManualScanContinueOnFailed" registry entry.

This registry entry may benefit you in a scenario in which the manual scan job experiences a problem while it scans a file or a folder structure. If this registry entry is not set, the manual scan job exits when it experiences a problem with a file or when it experiences a problem parsing a folder structure.

MORE INFORMATION

To configure a manual scan job to continue scanning if it experiences a problem, follow these steps.
