SYMPTOMS
When you save a presentation file in the portable network graphics (PNG) format in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, you experience the following symptoms:
Symptom 1
Not all slides are exported as PNG files. Additionally, some slides are exported to empty PNG files.
Symptom 2
When you view the presentation file in the Slide Sorter view in PowerPoint 2003, some slides are blank.
WORKAROUND
To work around the problem that is mentioned in Symptom 2, follow these steps:
- In PowerPoint 2003, open the presentation file that has blank slides by using the Slide Sorter view.
- On the File menu, click Save as.
- In the Save As dialog box, click Web Page in the Save as type list to save the file in HTML format.
- On the File menu, click Close.
- In PowerPoint 2003, open the HTML document that you saved in step 3.
- On the File menu, click Save as.
- To save the file in the PPT format, click Presentation in the Save as type list in the Save As dialog box.
