You receive an error when you try to purchase or download a song or the option to purchase or download a song does not appear in the Zune Marketplace

SYMPTOMS

When you are visiting the Zune Marketplace, you experience one of the following symptoms:

  • When you try to purchase or download a song, you receive the following error message:

    Track not available

  • The following message appears where the option to purchase or download a song typically appears:

    Tracks not Available


CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the Zune Marketplace has not finished retrieving the item.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. Give the software more time to retrieve marketplace information, and then try again.


MORE INFORMATION

When the Zune software starts, the software automatically retrieves items for the Zune Marketplace. However, even though the software may state that the retrieval process is complete, time may still be required for some items to become available for download or for purchase.
