INTRODUCTION

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • When an update for actual work that includes work that was submitted for an earlier date is accepted, the actual work for the task may include additional time for the actual work that was submitted.
  • You edit a master project file (.mpp) that is saved on a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Web site. If the .mpp file is currently being edited by another user, your copy of the .mpp file does not open in Project 2003 as read-only.
  • A resource submits timephased actual work by using Project Web Access. Then, the timephased actual work is updated in Project Professional 2003. When this occurs, the actual work time is spread across the Project Web Access time period, such as one day, instead of following the timephased scheduled work contour.
  • An Enterprise resource submits a timesheet that includes multiple entries of "0h." When the timephased actual work is updated in Project Professional 2003, the actual work is updated correctly except for the last day in the update time period. The last day in the update time period may be displayed as "8h," instead of the "0h" that was submitted.
