APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Enterprise Edition

SYMPTOMS

You send an appointment from one Microsoft Exchange Server organization to another Exchange organization by using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. If one of the organizations is in the Western Australia time zone, the appointment may be incorrect by one hour.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Exchange 2007 Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) tables do not contain updated DST transition times for the Western Australia time zone if Update Rollup for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 is not installed.

Note Daylight saving time (DST) was introduced to Western Australia for a three-year trial period that started December 3, 2006.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 4 for Exchange 2007 on the server that is running Exchange Server 2007. For more information about Update Rollup 4 for Exchange 2007, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
