SYMPTOMS

When you fast forward or rewind a TV program or a movie to find a specific location on a Windows Media Center PC, the image on the screen does not match the content that appears in the progress indicator timeline at the bottom of the screen.

For example, when you fast forward or rewind a program, the image that appears on the screen updates slowly. Alternatively, the section of the video program that plays when you start a program differs from what appears on the screen when you fast forward or rewind the program.
