SYMPTOMS

After you add media to the Media Center Extender library, some media does not appear in the library.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the added media does not appear in the library until all the media has been added.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. Let the Adding Media process complete on the Media Center Extender before you try to access the library.

Note When you add new media to the Extender, it can take up to several hours to update the libraries. This delay depends on how much content you are adding.

MORE INFORMATION

If you cancel the Adding Media process or if the process is not completed, the Adding Media dialog box will appear the next time that you access the library. This behavior continues until the Extender successfully adds all the media.
