SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You create a new project in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006. In the BizTalk project, you use the Add Generated Items Wizard to generate a schema for Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 2.0. In this scenario, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

The name that you have entered is not valid. Names may not be keywords.

This problem occurs when the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file contains an XLANGs keyword. For example, the WSDL file uses "request" and "response" for message part names.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains this hotfix.

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for Web Services Enhancements 2.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed to apply this hotfix.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
