SYMPTOMS

The U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 was passed by the U.S. Congress in July 2005. The act extends daylight saving time (DST) in the United States by approximately four weeks. Beginning in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier and will end one week later that it had previously. DST will start on the second Sunday in March at 2:00 A.M. and will end on the first Sunday in November at 2:00 A.M. In the United States, DST will begin on March 11, 2007, and will end on November 4, 2007.

In Mexico, DST will continue to start on the first Sunday in April at 2:00 A.M. and to end on the last Sunday in October at 2:00 A.M. In Mexico, DST will begin on April 1, 2007, and will end on October 28, 2007.

On a Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.0-based device, the time zone settings and the system clock may be incorrect during the four-week period of extended daylight saving time. If the time zone settings are incorrect, the system clock may be off by one hour. Additionally, certain applications that run on a Windows CE .NET 4.0-based device may not display the correct time.
