Known issues

Microsoft is aware of an issue that affects NEC98 systems that are running Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 (SP4). A system might encounter problems when it tries to connect to Windows Update. This is because of an incorrect version number of the Ntoskrnl.exe file in the originally issued security update. We recommend that NEC 98 customers who are running Windows 2000 with SP4 download the revised security update from the Microsoft Download Center Web site to make sure that Windows Update offers future updates correctly. NEC 98 customers who are running Windows 2000 with SP4 may also uninstall this security update. After they do that, they will receive the revised security update from Windows Update automatically.
