SYMPTOMS
When you use a Network Appliance storage device with the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Virtual Disk Service (VDS), at least one of the following problems may occur:
- Snapshot volumes do not mount successfully.
- When you try to dismount a volume, the volume dismount operation reports an error. The volume dismount operation reports an error even when the volume dismounts successfully.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. To apply this hotfix, you must have Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2003 SP2 installed.
