The installer fails when you try to install PolicyMaker Standard Edition 2.0

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Desktop Standard PolicyMaker Standard Edition 2.0, the installer fails. This problem may occur when you have not installed Group Policy Management Console (GPMC).

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install GPMC before you run the PolicyMaker Standard Edition 2.0 Setup Wizard.
  2. On the Custom Setup page of the Setup Wizard, click This feature will not be available.
