Error message when you install SoftGrid Virtual Application Server: "The specified @job_name ('SoftGrid Database (<database name>) Enforce Size Limit') does not exist"

SYMPTOMS

When you install SoftGrid Virtual Application Server, the installation fails. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

The installation program encountered and error when attempting to execute a database statement. The specified @job_name ('SoftGrid Database (database name): Enforce Size Limit') does not exist."

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the database name contains a hyphen.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use a database name that does not contain a hyphen. A database name that contains a hyphen is not supported.
