The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you run the Neglected Cases report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the report displays an incorrect total number of cases. This problem occurs if you click Days Neglected in the Group By list in the Report Viewer: Neglected Cases dialog box.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains this hotfix.

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

Installation information

Install this hotfix on computers that are running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server software. After you install this hotfix, delete the temporary files in Windows Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Follow the appropriate step:
    • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Delete in the Browsing history area, click Delete files in the Temporary Internet Files area, and then click Yes.
    • In Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet files area, and then click OK.

Prerequisites

You must have the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server software installed to apply this hotfix. Additionally, you must have the update for the 2007 daylight saving time changes for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 installed to apply this hotfix. Removal information
