SUMMARY

The Mailing Labels Report Wizard enables you to choose from 66 different labels. However, the Report Wizard does not verify whether the labels you select will correctly fit on the paper size that you have specified. You may need to manually customize your printer setup or the number of labels per page after using the Report Wizard.

MORE INFORMATION

The need to customize the printer setup is most common with dot-matrix printers. Label sizes other than .5 inch or 1 inch may not fit evenly on the default 11-inch page.

To manually customize your printer setup or the number of labels per page, follow these steps.

In Microsoft Access for Windows 95 version 7.0:

  1. Preview your report.
  2. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
  3. Customize the margins to accommodate the number and width of the labels using the Margins tab.
  4. Click the Layout tab to customize the number of rows of labels.

In Microsoft Access versions 1.x and 2.0:

  1. Preview your report.
  2. From the File menu, choose Print Setup.
  3. Customize the margins to accommodate the number and width of the labels.
  4. Choose the More button in the Print Setup dialog box to customize the number of rows of labels.
