SYMPTOMS

When you try to preview a Microsoft Office Excel 2007 workbook in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:

This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer:

Microsoft Office Excel previewer

To open this program in its own program, double-click it.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

• In the Excel 2007 workbook, the Sharing with track changes check box is selected.
• In the Excel 2007 workbook, the List changes on a new sheet check box is selected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
