This article describes the Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 issue that is fixed in the Outlook 2003 post-Service Pack 2 hotfix package that is dated December 14, 2006.

List of issues that this hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • You create an update, an exception, to a meeting request in Outlook 2003. If the meeting request is open when you create the update, you receive the following error message:

    The function cannot be performed because the message has been changed.

    However, when you click OK to close the error message, an update to the meeting request is sent to the attendees.
