The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
After you update the labels of the following picklist fields in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the labels are not updated on the Microsoft CRM Integration 3.0 - Settings & Administration Tool page:
- Account Category Code
- Account Payment Terms
- Account Shipping Method
- Contact Payment Terms
- Contact Shipping Method
- Invoice Payment Terms
- Invoice Shipping Method
- Product Type Code
- Sales Order Payment Terms
- Sales Order Shipping Method
Additionally, after you update the users' names in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the names are not updated on the Microsoft CRM Integration 3.0 - Settings & Administration Tool page.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains this hotfix.
