Error message when you enter your mailing address in the Zune Marketplace: "You have entered an invalid billing address"

SYMPTOMS

When you enter your mailing address in the Zune Marketplace, you receive the following error message:

You have entered an invalid billing address.

CAUSE

You experience this behavior if you enter a military address such as an Army Post Office (APO) address or a Fleet Post Office (FPO) address.

Note The Zune Marketplace does not support APO addresses or FPO addresses.

THINGS TO TRY

1. Enter a supported U.S. address when you sign up for a Zune account or when you have to enter a mailing address in the Zune Marketplace.
