  • Zune 4GB Digital Media Player
  • Zune 8GB Digital Media Player
  • Zune 30GB Digital Media Player
  • Zune 80GB Digital Media Player

SUMMARY

A Zune device and the Zune software report different amounts of available storage space for the device.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior mainly occurs because the Zune software accounts for the Reserved Space on the device as Used Space. Also, there are small differences in the ways that the Zune device and the Zune software calculate and round storage space in gigabytes (GB). No space is actually missing from your Zune device.

To view or to adjust the Reserved Space on the Zune device, connect the Zune device to the computer by using the Zune Sync Cable. Once the Zune device is connected, click settings, click device, and then click Reserved Space
