SYMPTOMS
When you use the Zune software to update your Zune device, to give your Zune device a name, or to set sync options, the following buttons at the bottom of the Zune software dialog box may be clipped:
- Back
- Next
- Cancel
CAUSE
This issue may occur if you use a custom DPI setting in Display Properties in Microsoft Windows.
THINGS TO TRY
- Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
- If Windows Task Manager does not open, click Task Manager.
- On the Applications tab, click Zune, and then click End Task.
- On the File menu, click Exit Task Manager.
- Change the font DPI.
For Microsoft Windows XP, follow these steps:- Click Start, click Run, type desk.cpl, and the click OK.
- On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
- In the DPI setting list in the Display area on the General tab, click Normal size (96 DPI).
- Click OK to confirm the change.
- Click OK, and then click Yes to use the existing font files.
- Click Close, and then click Yes to restart the computer.
For Windows Vista, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Appearance and Personalization.
- Click Personalization.
- Under Tasks, click Adjust font size (DPI).
- Click Default scale (96 DPI) – fit more information.
- Click OK to confirm the change.
- Click Restart Now.
