CAUSE

To resolve this problem, edit the date-driven payment terms to be the standard payment terms in QuickBooks. To do this, follow these steps in QuickBooks:

  1. On the Lists menu, click Customer and Vendor Profile List, and then click Terms List.
  2. Double-click the payment term that you want to edit.
  3. Click Standard, and then type the term in the Term box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to edit each date-driven payment term.
  6. On the File menu, click Exit.
  7. Import the QuickBooks data again.

MORE INFORMATION

The differences between the date-driven payment terms and the standard payment terms are as follows:

  • If you use the date-driven payment terms, your invoices are due by a certain day of the month. For example, if you have a payment term that is 1% 10 Net 25, your invoices are due on the 25th of the month.
  • If you use the standard payment terms, your invoices are due within a specific number of days from the invoice date. For example, if you have a payment term that is 1% 10 Net 25, your invoices are due within 25 days of the invoice date.
