SYMPTOMS


During the Microsoft Access Setup process, the mouse pointer will change from an hourglass to an arrow if the mouse is moved while files are being copied. The pointer will not return to an hourglass until the Setup program changes to another disk.

STATUS


This behavior no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 2.0.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior


  1. Run the Microsoft Access Setup program.
  2. Choose Complete Installation. When Setup begins copying the files, move the mouse. The hourglass will change to an arrow.
