Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues:

  • 928887 Error message when a client computer that is running Duet for Microsoft Office and SAP responds as a secondary client: "Cannot run synchronization on secondary client" or "Client configuration corrupt"

  • 928888 A client computer that is running Duet for Microsoft Office and SAP may stop responding during synchronization, and you receive the following error message: "Error 401: User is not authorized"

This hotfix package also fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

The Duet Action pane may display special characters, such as German umlauts, as question marks.

There are no prerequisites for installing this hotfix.

Restart information

You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must log off the client computer, and then log on as the Duet user.

This hotfix is not replaced by any later hotfix.

To use one of the hotfixes in this package, you do not have to make any changes to the registry.

This hotfix may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix contains only the files that you must have to correct the issues that are listed in this article.
