  • Zune software

SUMMARY

This article describes how to find music in the Zune Marketplace.

MORE INFORMATION

  1. In the left pane of the Zune software, double-click Marketplace to show the Marketplace categories.
  2. Depending on the criteria that you want to use to search for the music, click one of the following Marketplace categories:
    • Playlists
    • Charts
    • Active downloads
    • Artist
    • Album
    • Songs
    • Genre
    • Year
  3. In the center Details pane, locate the music that you want. You can type keywords in the Search box to search for the music in the Zune Marketplace.

Note You cannot use wildcard characters in a search. Wildcard characters are characters such as an asterisk (*) or a question mark (?).

  1. When you find music in which you are interested, click Play to listen to the song. If you use a pay-as-you-go account, a 30-second sample plays. If you have a Zune Marketplace subscription account, the whole song plays.

For more information about how to use the Search feature in Zune, view the Search the library topic in the Zune Help file.
