Appointments may be incorrect by one hour when appointments are sent between a Lotus Notes organization and an Exchange Server organization

SYMPTOMS

When appointments are sent between a Lotus Notes organization and a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 organization, the appointments may be incorrect by one hour.

This problem occurs when the Lotus Notes organization or the Exchange Server 2003 organization is in the Western Australia time zone.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Exchange Server 2003 Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) tables and the Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access tables do not contain updated daylight saving time (DST) transition times for the Western Australia time zone.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install version 06.05.7940 of the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Connector for Lotus Notes or the latest version of the Connector for Lotus Notes.
