SYMPTOMS

When you enable the Searchable property of a rich text field in a Forms-based tool in Microsoft Office Groove 2007, the view does not correctly filter records that existed before you enabled the Searchable property. This issue occurs when you add a view filter that uses the Rich Text field in a filter condition.

Note New or updated records are correctly filtered.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, make the Rich Text field the default sort field. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In the View menu, click Go to Designer.
  2. In the Views section, click your view.
  3. Double-click the field name.
  4. On the Sorts tab, click to select the Ascending or Descending check box.
  5. Click OK.
  6. On the Options tab, select the Sort from the Default Sort drop-down list.
  7. Click Save.
