  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Connector for Lotus Notes to send e-mail messages between Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Lotus Notes, the performance counters of the MSExchangeNMC object do not work on the server that is running Exchange Server.

For example, when you view the Message Queued Outbound performance counter, the performance counter data is not displayed correctly.

Note The Message Queued Outbound performance counter displays the total number of all messages that are currently queued at the connector.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the latest version of the Exchange Server 2003 Connector for Lotus Notes. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.

Prerequisites

Because of file dependencies, this hotfix requires Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 to be installed on the server. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
