SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Word 2007, when you try to publish a blog post to a blog that was created in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Word cannot publish the pictures in this post

When this issue occurs, the text is published to the blog as expected.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the URL for the blog contains international characters.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, publish the blog post to a different blog. Then, verify that the URL for the blog does not contain international characters.
