SYMPTOMS
When you try to create a new Zune Tag, you receive the following error message:
CAUSE
The requested Zune tag starts with a number or contains an offensive word. Zune tags cannot start with a number, cannot contain the word “Zune,” and cannot contain offensive words. Additionally, if you try to use a non-United States Xbox Gamertag to create your Zune Tag, you receive a message that states that your Zune Tag is invalid.
THINGS TO TRY
- When you try to create a Zune tag, make sure that the tag does not start with a number, does not contain the word “Zune,” does not contain curse words or other words that may be offensive to other users. Also verify that the customer is using a United States Xbox Gamertag (if applicable).
