SYMPTOMS
When you try to connect to a cube server in ProClarity Web Professional or in ProClarity Desktop Professional, you receive the following error message:
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, disable the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration option.
Note By default, the option is enabled on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer.
To disable this option, follow these steps:
- In Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs.
- Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
- In the Windows Components Wizard dialog box, click to clear the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration check box.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
- Restart ProClarity Web Professional or ProClarity Desktop Professional.

Steps to reproduce the problem
- Make sure that the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration check box is selected in the Windows Components Wizard dialog box.
- On the File menu, click Open Cube.
- In the Connect dialog box, type a cube server name in the Server field, and then click OK.
