SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You have a computer that is running ProClarity Dashboard Server 5.3. You open a dashboard in a Web browser to display a key performance indicator (KPI) on the computer. Additionally, the value of the KPI is displayed in the British pound currency format. In this scenario, you notice that an "A" character that has an accent appears before the KPI value.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, change the encoding of the Web page to Unicode (UTF-8).
