You may experience unexpected behavior when you move the Habu Laser Gaming Mouse quickly

Article ID: 927684

Article Last Modified on 11/3/2006

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse

SYMPTOMS

When you move the Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse quickly, you may experience unexpected behavior. For example, in a First Person Shooter (FPS) game instead of doing a 180 degree turn you could be looking at the floor or the sky.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when your movement speed exceeds the ability of the sensor to track on the surface.

RESOLUTION

The laser sensor performs better on smooth, light-colored surfaces. Try using a different mouse pad or a different surface.
