- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server
SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You add an Active Directory group to a Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server user group. You add a user account to the Active Directory group. In this scenario, the user does not appear in a valid Team Foundation Server user account until the Team Foundation Server AppPool is recycled on the application tier server.
This scenario is only one of the possible scenarios in which TFS does not correctly synchronize with Active Directory.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a bug that prevents the automatic syncing mechanism from starting.

Note In this sample, the value is in Hrs:Mins:Secs format. These sample lines change the synchronize interval to be every 5 minutes.
