SUMMARY

In a Microsoft Works for Windows chart, left vertical axis gridlines and right vertical axis gridlines cannot be displayed at the same time.

MORE INFORMATION

To see both vertical axes:

  1. On the Format menu, click Two Vertical (Y) Axes.
  2. In the 1st Value Series box, select Right.

If the Show Gridlines option has been selected for both of the vertical axes, the right vertical axis will not display its gridlines. The left vertical axis takes priority and will be the only one that shows gridlines.

Clearing the Show Gridlines option for the left vertical axis allows the right vertical axis to display its gridlines.

To add/remove left axis gridlines, do the following:

  1. On the Format menu, click Vertical (Y) Axis.
  2. Select the Show Gridlines check box and click OK.

To add/remove right axis gridlines, do the following:

  1. On the Format menu, click Right Vertical Axis.
  2. Select the Show Gridlines check box and click OK.
