SYMPTOMS

When you click a hyperlink in a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 presentation, the hyperlink may take you to the wrong location.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the PowerPoint 2007 file is saved as a PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation file (.ppt) and if the hyperlink links to one of the following locations:

  • First Slide
  • Next Slide
  • Last Slide
  • Previous Slide
  • Slide Title
  • Custom Shows


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
